Ben Morey is a musician and photographer living in Rochester, NY. He’s released many albums of original music including the 2020 album “Still Life”. As a performer he's travelled the US and Europe performing original music with artists like Waxahatchee, Josh Ritter and Speedy Ortiz. In 2021 he founded the Submarine School of Music with his wife Katie. Their community music school offers sliding scale tuition and provides music education to hundreds of students of all ages in the city of Rochester. He runs the Submarine Sound Studio where he records and produces music for national and international artists. His photographs are often open metaphors that can be absurd, funny, sad, or all those things at once. His work appears on album covers for artists like Attic Abasement and Big Benny Bailey. He is currently working on his first book of photos.
